Golden syrup dumplings is a well loved dessert from my childhood. It was very popular with all my family when I was growing up and my mum would often make it when I was older and I returned home for a visit as she knew it was a favorite. Now I make it (every now & then) and my boys love it as well and it has become a favorite in our house as well. Made these tonight as we had soup for dinner and thought a dessert might be good to fill them up!
