We held a garage sale at my Aunties house on Friday and Saturday and this is one room ready to go..... we sold lots which always surprises me!

- I have been enticed & inspired by a friend to participate in this journey. We are well into 2009, so my photo blog will be a yearlong one – still 1 photo a day for 365 days but just not 2009. I considered the idea of a theme a day (which I love & was very tempted to do) but what initially encouraged me to begin my own photo blog was the spontaneous, beautiful & somewhat mundane photos of a friend, her family and their daily life. The insights of her & her family that she allows us "warmed the cockles of my heart" I only hope that my photo diary will provide the same to someone as well. (Warm the cockles of one's heart : idiomatic - To provide happiness, to bring a deeply-felt contentment).
I always wanted to do that but I can't be bothered. Plus I'm worried nothing will sell. How long did you sit there?
ReplyDeleteThe garage sale ran on Friday and Saturday (but we left to catch our plane Sat 1030) and we were flat chat all day both days. It was very successful!
