at the Mezze Lebanese Grill in East Brunswick. My nephew is visiting with us and it his birthday today and it was my son's last Monday so we celebrated today with lebanese. Yum.

- I have been enticed & inspired by a friend to participate in this journey. We are well into 2009, so my photo blog will be a yearlong one – still 1 photo a day for 365 days but just not 2009. I considered the idea of a theme a day (which I love & was very tempted to do) but what initially encouraged me to begin my own photo blog was the spontaneous, beautiful & somewhat mundane photos of a friend, her family and their daily life. The insights of her & her family that she allows us "warmed the cockles of my heart" I only hope that my photo diary will provide the same to someone as well. (Warm the cockles of one's heart : idiomatic - To provide happiness, to bring a deeply-felt contentment).
